The Grizzly Gazette April 2 – 5

Dear Gibson Families!

Happy Easter and we hope that you have been having a wonderful Spring Break. We can’t wait to see the students again and we are looking forward to an amazing third term.

Fraser Health Advisory – Protection Against Measles

Measles cases are being reported in many places internationally, in Canada and in B.C.  Fraser Health would like to remind you to check your child’s vaccination records before travelling during Spring Break to ensure they are protected.  Please click here to read the full advisory, which includes how to check your child’s immunization records. For more information, please contact your local public health provider or visit fraserhealth.ca/immunizations.

Class Photos will be on Wednesday morning. Please have your child bring their best smiles.

We will also be having a Lockdown Drill on Thursday. Please have a conversation with your child to help us prepare for the day. Please also let us know if you suspect that your child may be extra nervous. Teachers will be working hard to prepare students as well as explaining why we do lockdown drills, fire drills etc.
