Dear Gibson Families,

Thank you so much for your understanding and support during the past week, especially with the increased rates of illness we experienced on Thursday and Friday. Your cooperation has been truly appreciated as we’ve worked to follow all the guidelines provided by Fraser Health.

We’d like to gently remind families that children should be symptom-free for at least 48 hours before returning to school. This important step helps us keep our school community as healthy and safe as possible.

Please know that we have been working closely with Fraser Health, our School District Facilities Department, and the District Health and Safety team to ensure all appropriate measures are being followed to protect our students and staff.

We also want to send a huge thank you to our amazing PAC volunteers. They have spent countless hours of their own time supporting our school, including organizing and arranging lunches for families. We are so grateful for everything they do behind the scenes. Just a reminder that all PAC members are parent volunteers who give up their own time to help make Gibson Elementary the best it can be for our students and families.
